To promote international cooperation and the breadth of disaster management, monitoring technology, and knowledge about debris flow prevention, the Bureau conducted "2016 Debris Flow Prevention Conference of Japan and Taiwan" and invited 12 Japanese specialists and scholars in NCKU. Also, arranging for visit in large-scale landslide susceptibility areas and regulation works in recovery areas, expecting to make Japanese specialists and scholars realize the development situation about soil and water conservation technology, and exchanging experiences about slopeland disaster prevention in Japan and Taiwan.
