On behalf of SWCB, Chin-lun Wang, Deputy Director General, released “Non-structural Countermeasures against Debris Flow Disaster in Taiwan” at the Taipei International Water Environment Summit Forum in 2018. He shared the software methods and successful experiences of SWCB in promoting debris flow disaster prevention with representatives of major international cities and relevant experts and scholars, including the Netherlands, Japan, Korea, Turkey, Vietnam, South Africa, etc. Through discussions in this field the software method and successful experience can be brought into line with the international standards, so as to enable the development of slope land environment and technology reach a higher level, demonstrate the promotion of application of Taiwan's technological energy, and activate the development of disaster prevention industry.
