Records of the Cooperation Meeting between SWCB and Vietnam Disaster Management Authority - Agency of Rural Development and Soil and Water Conservation, MOA

SWCB and the Vietnam Disaster Management Authority (VNDMA), affiliated to the Vietnam Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. They reached a consensus on cooperation. Through signing the minutes of the meeting, the two sides actively promoted technical cooperation, effectively combined resources and technologies of both sides, shared new scientific and technological knowledge, and cooperation achievements. The two parties visited the Debris Flow Observation Station in Ershan, Jiufen after the meeting, hoping to provide references for Vietnam to develop slope disaster prevention and mitigation technologies based on Taiwan's successful experience in implementing debris flow disaster prevention for many years, help Vietnam to establish an early warning mechanism for debris flow disasters, jointly open up cooperation opportunities for soil and water conservation, slope disaster prevention, and other related technologies.
