2019 International Disaster Risk Management Training Class visited Huashan Debris Flow Disaster Educational Park - Agency of Rural Development and Soil and Water Conservation, MOA

NCKU led 27 students from the Malaysia International Education Class to visit the Huashan Debris Flow Disaster Educational Park. Colleagues from SWCB and the Debris Flow monitoring team explained the SWCB Debris Flow Disaster prevention monitoring mechanism, while colleagues from the Nantou Branch of SWCB assisted in explaining the on-site wild stream management project, in order that students could experience Taiwan’s achievements in disaster prevention and soil and water conservation. During the event, participating students from all countries enthusiastically exchanged information and expressed that they had learned a lot, which planted seeds for future international technology exchange in Taiwan.
