The SWCB and the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute cooperated in holding the 2019 Craftsmen Next Door-Taiwan-Japan Local Craft Exchange Exhibition, which was opened on August 13 at the NTCRI, Taipei Branch. Experts from Japan, Cambodia, and Thailand were invited to share craft creations with Taiwan’s quality communities, and engage in experience exchange forums that aim to revitalize craft creation organizations. Tien-Shou Chen (Vice-Chairman, Council of Agriculture) and Chun-Han Cheng (Secondary Minister, Ministry of Culture) both affirmed the achievements of the cross-regional cooperation between the two sides of the rural craft industry.
