Professor Dave Chen, University of Hawaii, visited SWCB and was received by Director Hsiao-yuan Yin of SWCB Debris Flow Disaster Prevention Center. He explained how debris flow warning and release system and QPESUMS grid technology are applied to rainfall forecast to the Debris Flow Disaster Response Team. They also exchanged meteorological information development with each other to enhance the application of disaster prevention information.
