The SWCB organized the 2019 Quality Independent Disaster Prevention Community Certification Award Ceremony and Debris Flow Disaster Prevention and Rescue Practices in the GIS Convention Center, National Taiwan University (NTU, and commended the exemplary actions of the communities in integrating disaster prevention with community building; meanwhile, Katsuya Yamori (Professor, Kyoto University) was invited to Taiwan to sign the authorization contract for the disaster prevention education promotion cooperation of the disaster prevention game, Crossroads, and debris flow disaster prevention and rescue practices were held after the ceremony. Lectures were presented on various topics, such as the application of meteorological information regarding disaster potential in community disaster prevention, as well as the connection of risk strategies to the community, which provided the participants with comprehensive and complete knowledge of disaster prevention.
