Vietnam Economic and Cultural Office in Taipei visited the Soil and Water Conservation Bureau - Agency of Rural Development and Soil and Water Conservation, MOA

On August 28, 2020, Vietnam Economic and Cultural Office in Taipei Ambassador Nguyễn Anh Dũng and his wife, Chief Vo Hong Manh, and Assistant Ambassador Nguyen Manh Tuyen visited the Soil and Water Conservation Bureau (SWCB). SWCB shared with Vietnamese representatives and signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Vietnam Institute of Geosciences and Mineral Resources to assist Vietnam in establishing a landslide observation demonstration station in Lào Cai Province, Vietnam. In the future, Vietnam Economic and Cultural Office in Taipei will be invited to assist in strengthening the disaster prevention cooperation with Vietnam's landslide disaster prevention authorities to help local governments in Vietnam to establish landslide observation stations and develop landslide disaster prevention and response systems.
