Japan’s large-scale failure investigation team visited Tainan Branch, SWCB for the investigation and exchange activities on the potential large-scale failure areas

Yamakawa, Yosuke (Professor, University of Tsukuba), Hotta Norifumi (Professor, University of Tokyo), Naoya Masaoka (Professor, Kyoto University), Christopher Gomez (Professor, Kobe University), Ching-Ying Tsou (Professor, Hirosaki University and Hsin-Deputy Director of Ping Lee, and other experts and scholars, such as Dr. Yuan-Rong Tsai (Disaster Prevention Research Center, NCKU), investigated the potential large-scale failure area in Baolai and Maolin of Kaohsiung, and visited the Tainan Branch of the SWCB before their departure. Japanese scholar, Professor Yamakawa, explained the purpose of this survey and shared the current situation and investigation results of the potential areas under the jurisdiction of the Tainan Branch of the SWCB.
