2014 International Conference for Landslide Prevention - Agency of Rural Development and Soil and Water Conservation, MOA

With the climate change and the growing frequency of compound disaster, including shallow landslides, debris flow and large-scale landslides, it’s getting difficult to predict disaster precisely. In light of this situation, SWCB plans to hold 2014 International Conference for Landslide Prevention on October 1st where world specialists and scholars from Canada, Italy, Japan, Nepal, Indonesia, etc., will be invited to attend. It is expected that the technical developments and achievements for landslide prevention from country to country will give a great reference for Taiwan. Moreover, through exchanging the practical experiences of landslide prevention, it will be a great help for SWCB to enhance disaster prevention ability.
