2019 International Short-Term Disaster Risk Management Course - leading the training class of debris flow disaster prevention to visit the debris flow monitoring park in Huashan Community - Agency of Rural Development and Soil and Water Conservation, MOA

The representatives of National Cheng Kung University led 27 Malaysian students from the international class visited the Huashan Community. SWCB and debris flow monitoring team explained the SWCB the debris flow disaster prevention monitoring mechanism. Staffs of SWCB Nantou Branch helped to explain the torrent control works, allowing the participants to experience the results of debris flow disaster prevention, soil and water conservation and the rural customs. The participants were enthusiastic during interaction and expressed they benefited from this event. The activity laid a foundation for international technical exchanges.
