Recruitment of Rural Heroes The Last Two Weeks - Agency of Rural Development and Soil and Water Conservation, MOA

Please Seize the Time to Apply for Selection of Rural Village Leadership Award 
After The Council of Agriculture recruited “heroes of rural village leadership award” in press conference on July 21, the heroes from different places were ready to compete with each other. With the contribution and devotion of unknown people who intend to re-discover rural community, community development is changed. Please introduce these heroes around you. It is the last two weeks. Please seize the time to apply for selection of rural heroes of rural village leadership award. The winners will have the opportunities to visit foreign country. The end of application is August 17. 
Leadership Award: Leading the heroes to visit and exchange in foreign country 
The Soil and Water Conservation Bureau (SWCB) has been implementing rural rejuvenation for five years. Since the enactment of rural rejuvenation regulation in August 2010, SWCB has made efforts with communities to change public feelings, guide rural community residents to flip the communities, change overall environment, revitalize industry, conserve ecology and encourage youths to return to hometown which demonstrated performance of vigorous development. According to Director-General Chen-yang Lee of SWCB, in order to appreciate the people who are devoted to rural community development, it recruits these unknown heroes and will select four dimensions, including 30 heroes. The winners will not only be praised in public, but also visit and exchange with foreign rural villages. By international visit and exchange, they can expand vision and once they return to Taiwan, they will upgrade rural development and continue revitalizing rural rejuvenation. 
Presentation of SWCB   Encouraging application of those who are engaged in rural development 
Director-General Lee stated that after the press conference on July 21, SWCB held 6 sessions of presentation in northern, central, southern and eastern Taiwan to recruit rural heroes of Taiwan. Please recommend the people who quietly contribute to the communities and allow them to become winners of rural village leadership award.
