National Taiwan University and Taiwan Geotechnical Society jointly held the Fifth International Symposium on Disaster Mitigation and Reconstruction of Geotechnical Engineering and conducted a thematic discussion on flood-related geological disasters caused by earthquakes and heavy rainfall, including hurricanes and typhoons, heavy rains and river and coastal flooding caused by storm surges.
