Participated in the Debris Flow Disaster Observation Symposium in Vietnam and promoted the slopeland disaster prevention program in Vietnam

In order to assist Vietnam in promoting the slopeland disaster prevention program in the mountainous regions of Vietnam, the Institute of Geology and Mineral Resources of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Vietnam invited the SWCB to the Debris Flow Disaster Observation Symposium. Witnessed by Kuang-Huai Chen, the director of the General Administration of Disaster Prevention of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam; Hai-Shan Cheng, the Deputy Director of the Institute of Geology and Mineral Resources of the Ministry of Environment and Resources of Vietnam; and officials from Lao Cai Province, Vietnam, the opening ceremony of the Debris Flow Disaster observation demonstration station was put into use in Sapa District, Vietnam, which demonstrated that the technological efforts of Taiwan have gained international recognition and established an international brand for disaster prevention in Taiwan.
