Hsiao-Yuan Yin (Director) attended the 16th Asian Conference on Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering, as organized by the Chinese Taipei Geotechnical Society on behalf of the SWCB, and published the Risk Management of Debris Flow Disaster in Taiwan, which will share SWCB’s software method and successful experiences in debris flow disaster prevention with representatives from various countries and related participating experts and scholars. Through the industrial-governmental-academic discussions, the SWCB kept pace with the global community, announced its intension to upgrade the developments and technology of the slopeland security environment to a higher level, demonstrated the technical strength of Taiwan’s disaster prevention technology, and activated the development of the disaster prevention industry.
