The Overview of the International and Cross-Strait Exchanges Held by Soil and Water Conservation Bureau in November 12 to November 18

In order to continuously promote international exchanges and cooperation, the Bureau invited 12 Japanese experts and scholars to hold the "2017 Symposium on Mechanisms, Prediction and Assessment of Debris Disaster of Taiwan and Japan and Bilateral Executive Officer Meeting of Taiwan and Japan at National Chung Hsing University. In the meeting, the response measures and technological development of composite debris disaster were mainly discussed. The Bureau invited representatives from the  business, university and government in Taiwan to attend the meeting and discuss such topics as the software solutions for the debris disaster prevention, the division of the influence scope of the large-scale collapse and the model test of the simple dammed lake inrush, so that Japanese experts and scholars could understand the current status of soil and water conservation technologies in Taiwan and further share and exchange strategies and experience in the prevention and control of landslide in Taiwan and Japan.
