Exchanges of the personnel from the Soil and Water Conservation Bureau at abroad in May 27 to June 7 - Agency of Rural Development and Soil and Water Conservation, MOA

Secretary Chen-yang Lee of the Bureau attended the 4th World Collapse Conference in Slovenija and discussed with experts and scholars from universities, industries and governments in the world about ways and tactics for prevention and control of large-scale landslide disasters resulting from climate change. They also took part in the on-site visits arranged by the conference and hoped that the dialogue with other countries such as the United States, Japan and Europe would be established and international exchange channels for disaster prevention technology would be expanded so as to enhance Taiwan's development of a mechanism for establishing and observing large-scale collapse warning mechanisms.
