From July 30 to August 3, 2012, in response to Typhoon Saola’s devastation, we and all divisions organized a debris flow disaster emergency action team. During this period, a total of 835 debris flow red alerts were issued across 67 townships and 303 villages in 14 counties, including Sioulin Township of Hualien County. There were 326 yellow alerts issued across 42 townships and 126 villages in 14 counties, including Datong Township of Yilan County.
