The 2012 APEC Typhoon Symposium organized by APEC Research Center for Typhoon and Society took place at Sheraton Hotel, Taipei. We were invited to demonstrate our basin-wide debris flow observation techniques (permanent stations, observation vehicles, and simplified stations) and the application of unmanned vehicles on disaster prevention, and the demonstration won a high opinion.
