“Judicial Officials’ Forum on Laws and Regulations Related to Hillside Development”

On August 1 and 2, the Soil and Water Conservation Bureau (SWCB) and Taiwan High Prosecutors Office held the first “Judicial Officials’ Forum on Laws and Regulations Related to Hillside Development”. There were 23 prosecutors in the forum. SWCB, officers of the related bureaus and supervisors of the soil and water conservation sections in some county and city governments were the participants.
The activities included visit in the Soil and Water Demonstration Area of Central Taiwan Science Park and Lugu Chufeng Community to recognize implementation result of SWCB regarding the soil and water conservation management and village renewal. In the forum, besides the soil and water conservation management, sharing of cases and briefing of monitoring variance of satellite images, Chief Prosecutor Wang of the High Prosecutors Office and Director-General Lee of SWCB hosted general forum and the prosecutors discussed the related issues with SWCB and participants from county and city governments. SWCB treated the discussion result as the reference for the following amendment.
