The Overview of the International and Cross-Strait Exchanges Held by Soil and Water Conservation Bureau in July 17 to July 21 - Agency of Rural Development and Soil and Water Conservation, MOA

2017 International Symposium for Natural Disaster Mitigation took “Facilitating the Restoration and Reconstruction after Regional and Local Disasters with Technology: Building a Sustainable and Resilient Community” as the theme. The EPCC of APEC invited APEC economies, the World Vegetable Center and member countries of ASEAN to share the information on facilitating the restoration and reconstruction after regional and local disasters with technology. A total of 30 international participants from 11 countries and 40 Taiwanese participated in the meeting, so as to draw on collective wisdom for building sustainable and resilient communities and enhancing the international visibility of the technology on disaster prevention and reduction in Taiwan.
