Technical Symposium for Land, Disaster Prevention, Surveying and Mapping - Agency of Rural Development and Soil and Water Conservation, MOA

The SWCB, Department of Land Administration of the Ministry of the Interior, the Chinese Commercial Association of Surveying and Mapping in Taiwan, and the ASEAN Federation of Land Surveying and Geomatics, jointly organize the “Technical Symposium for Land, Disaster Prevention, Surveying and Mapping”.The government officials, experts and scholars from ASEAN countries such as Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia, Brunei, Malaysia, etc. came to Taiwan to participate in the symposium. For the first time, space surveying and mapping technology in combination with disaster prevention technology was included into the issues discussed by ASEAN members. The SWCB promotes disaster prevention technologies and experience for years to embrace challenge from global climate change.
