Land Development Department of Thailand Ministry of Agriculture visited Taiwan for outdoor classroom activities for soil and water conservation and exchange activities for soil erosion prevention

Location:Conference Room 3, SWCB, Fengshuiping Soil and Water Conservation Outdoor Classroom, Shimen Farm Pond in Dahu Town, and Lishan Landslide Regulation Monitoring Center, etc.

The Land Development Department of the Thailand Ministry of Agriculture dispatched five governmental officials, including Pimpilai Nuallaong, to conduct the cooperation program in Phase 2 of Failure and Erosion Prevention in Taiwan, and advanced the bilateral cooperation between Taiwan and Thailand. During this visit, the Land Development Department visited the Fengshuiping Outdoor Classroom for Soil and Water Conservation, Fushoushan Farm, Improvement of Shimen Farm Pond in Dahu Town, the Lishan Landslide Regulation Monitoring Center, Alpine Farmland Soil and Water Conservation Methods, and Agricultural Enterprise Development and Organic Farming, etc., and invited SWCB representatives to attend the World Soil Day 2019, as organized by the Thailand Ministry of Agriculture and the FAO, and assisted in the survey of outdoor classroom areas for soil and water conservation in Thailand.
