Experts from the New Agricultural Policy and Rural Revival delegation, as organized by the African-Asian Rural Development Organization (AARDO), visited the administration achievements of SWCB

The SWCB participated in the New Agricultural Policy and Rural Revival visiting expert delegation, as organized by the African-Asian Rural Development Organization (AARDO). The Secretary General of AARDO, Dr. Manoj Nardeosingh. led government officials in the field of agricultural administration from six countries in Asia and Africa to learn the achievements of the rural revival and disaster prevention monitoring system, and exchanged information with the visiting foreign guests. Through actual participation, the delegation accumulated rich experience in rural culture and production in the community, which helped them to understand the characteristics of Taiwan’s rural areas, learn the manufacturing processes of agricultural products, and understand how to enhance the industrial value of agriculture through practical operations. In addition, the delegation was deeply impressed by the SWCB’s establishment and promotion of a rural eco-friendly environment, including the concept of advocating the Satoyama Initiative in rural areas and the application of communication technology to safeguard hillside communities.
