His-ching Lin, Head of NCHC and Professor Peter Baumann, founder of datacube software, visited SWCB. Professor Baumann explained the analysis and processing advantages of datacube and Rasaman technologies in satellite imagery and environmental management. On the other hand, the head of NCHC, Lin, explained that NCHC would use Rasaman’s technology to process information provided by Taiwan authorities in the future and it is also hoped that relevant image data of SWCB could also be included into the system of NCHC in the future. During the meeting, SWCB personnel also raised relevant questions about Rasaman and held heated discussions.
