The SWCB cooperated with the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute to host the 2019 Craftsmen Next Door-Taiwan-Japan Local Craft Exchange Exhibition, and held an opening press conference in Nantou. Centered on the Craftsmen Next Door, the SWCB invited local craftspeople from Japan, such as Mishima and Fukushima, specially planned the result area of the craft community design camp targeting Taiwan, gathered the newly-developed works of 40 communities and 15 craft communities participating the craft camp, and conveyed the concept of craft as life, as well as its implications.
