SWCB was invited to Honolulu, Hawaii, USA to attend the “2018 Annual Meeting of Asia-Oceania Geosciences Society” (AOGS) and to visit local observation and disaster prevention agencies, as well as the Department of Atmospheric Sciences of the University of Hawaii and the Pacific Disaster Center (PDC). Two sides exchanged views on high-precision rainfall forecasting, global disaster monitoring system and flood forecasting, establishing a sound basis for future cooperation between two sides.
