Director Chen-yang Lee led a team to the Institute of Geology and Mineral Resources of the Ministry of Environment and Resources of Vietnam and Vietnam and signed a memorandum of understanding on the issues of early warning mechanisms for geological disasters and landslides under the witness of Ambassador Richard RC Shih of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Vietnam. In the future, both parties will work together to find solutions to the impact of future extreme disaster events and promote a win-win and mutually beneficial relationship between Taiwan and Vietnam so as to reach the specific goal of climate change adaptation and landslide prevention and mitigation.
