The Overview of the International and Cross-Strait Exchanges Held by Soil and Water Conservation Bureau in May 2 to May 4 - Agency of Rural Development and Soil and Water Conservation, MOA

The Bureau assisted the Taiwan Typhoon and Flood Research Institute in organizing the "2017 APEC Typhoon Symposium-The Challenges and Opportunities for Typhoon and Flood Forecasting" at the Convention Center of the National Taiwan University. During the meeting, experts and scholars from Taiwan, the United States, Japan, South Korea, the Philippines, Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia, Vietnam and Peru exchanged views and experience on policies related to typhoon, floods and other disasters. They also visited the Dachaokeng Earth Flow Observation Station, which fully demonstrated Taiwan's construction on real-time monitoring, prevention and contingency of earth flow disasters.
