Participation in 2019 IFSEC Expo and Seminar - Agency of Rural Development and Soil and Water Conservation, MOA

SWCB and Taiwan's disaster prevention team visited the Philippines from June 11 to 16 to build the "Taiwan Disaster Prevention Pavilion" at 2019 IFSEC Expo held in Manila, and introduce Taiwan’s experience in technical disaster prevention. The presentation has attracted official representatives from Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) and the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) to learn from Taiwan, and also launched a bilateral disaster prevention cooperation forum with the National Security Council, Office of Civil Defense, Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology and University of the Philippines Los Baños. The forum received a warm response from the Philippines.
